Flexibility: being able to pivot to better serve the company, our clients, our partners, and our global community.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of your job?
There are so many! Synergy, generosity, creativity, and curiosity; I love working together to recognize and reward those who pursue curiosity and continue a path of lifelong learning.
What’s your favorite childhood memory?
Time spent on my great-grandparents’ farm; family horse-shoe tournaments in the summer, homegrown pumpkin picking parties in the fall, visiting my dad’s Christmas tree grove in the Winter and gardening with my dad in the Spring! So many wonderful memories were made there!
What would be the title of your autobiography?
BananaFannaFoFangela; because nothing rhymes with Angela...
What’s your favorite part of your job?
My absolute favorite part of my job is collaborating with exceptional people, both locally and globally!
Do you have any pets?
We have a sweet and sassy puppy dog named Macy and four chickens named Betty, Wilma, Lucy, and Ethel. The chicks’ monikers are a nod to ‘The Flintstones’ and ‘I Love Lucy.’ There is no shortage of entertainment (or eggs) with our furry and feathered friends. 🐶🐔
If you could have an alternate profession, what would it be and why?
I would be a grade-school teacher with a pet lizard and a magic school bus that could take us anywhere! A typical field trip might include a trip to Jupiter or to the ocean floor…Remember to “take chances, make mistakes, and get messy!”
Who’s the most impressive celebrity you’ve met?
Steve Ewing of The Urge. He is so talented, yet so modest, and does so much for the city of St. Louis. He performs with his cover band in our little corner of town and the festival is one of our favorite events of the year!
What’s the most memorable or unusual thing to happen to you while working here?
I was cast in a training video as none other than the ‘not-so-famous’ music creator “Virtuosa Van Flanger.” That Friday morning ‘rocked’ my little world!
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
I enjoy exploring the outdoors with my stellar husband and our sweet puppy! We also love to entertain our family and friends whenever we can!
