If you could change any work policy, what would it be and why?
More vacation time! I have wanderlust to the extreme.
What would it surprise your coworkers to know about you?
I sing in two barbershop a cappella choruses and I’m one certification away from becoming a master scuba diver.
Do you have any pets?
Two tortie cats: Cleopatra (Cleo) and Calliope (Calli).
I also have a husband and a toddler; do they count?
What next-generation technology would make your job better/easier?
Thought-to-type. As terrifying as it would be to get inside my mind, it would be so much faster to be able to type what I think.
If you could change one thing about MoTech, what would it be and why?
I would love to try the 4-day or 4½-day work week (no work on Fridays or ½ day on Fridays).
Deserted island choices: One movie, one book, one album.
Movie: The Goonies
Book: The Complete U.S. Army Survival Guide to Tropical, Desert, Cold Weather, Mountain Terrain, Sea, and NBC Environments
Album: Soundtrack from Pride & Prejudice (2005 Keira Knightley version)
What was your favorite toy as a child?
A Snuggle bear (yes, like the fabric softener). I was super creative and named him Snuggle One. (Spoiler: I never had a Snuggle Two.)
Fun fact: I still have this bear and sleep with it every night. Don’t judge me!
What’s your favorite part of your job?
The people! The MoTech Herd is a wonderful group who makes my job significantly more enjoyable. On top of that, I get to work with amazing clients and agencies from all over the world.
What reality TV show title do you think best fits for MoTech?
The Office, duh! Although this was more applicable when everyone was still working in the office. I’d claim the role of Phyllis!
It’s your birthday dinner. What anything-goes meal are you requesting?
A smorgasbord of chips and queso, sushi, tacos, popcorn, charcuterie boards, Thanksgiving, pasta, ice cream, cookies, an endless supply of wine, and at least three different flavors of slushies.
