What’s your favorite part of your job?
The people. I think enjoying who you work with is just as important and enjoying what you do and we’re lucky at MoTech because we have a bunch of downright awesome people. A true pleasure to work with them every day.
If you could change any work policy, what would it be and why?
I don’t know if this would necessarily be considered a policy, but I’d like to see MoTech implement some sort of “Celebration Days” after the Kansas City Chiefs win a big game. It’s no secret I’m a huge Chiefs fan and I think them winning deserves some sort of office-wide party. I mean, why not?
What's one place you must visit, that you haven't yet?
The moon. When Musk or Bezos opens up recreational flights to the public, I will be signing up.
Do you have any pets?
Two dogs. Tucker and Lucy.
What reality TV show title do you think best fits for MoTech?
“Big Brother.” But not in a back-stabbing game show way, more in the literal sense of a sibling that’s always there and willing to lend a hand to help you or the project succeed.
Do you have any creative talents you’d like to share?
Creative talents? Funny you should mention it. I’m an expert at Microsoft Paint. When I’m trying to visualize something and can’t quite get it, that’s usually my first move.
What would be the title of your autobiography?
Hopefully something like, Ben Parrino: The Story of a Good Dude.
You have one hour of uninterrupted “Me Time.” What are you doing with it?
Honestly, probably watching Patrick Mahomes highlights or golf swing tip videos on YouTube. It’s an obsession that borders on insanity.
In one word, describe your daily commute to work.
Since the pandemic? Short.
If you could have an alternate profession, what would it be and why?
Being a playlist curator for Spotify would be awesome. But I think the dream job would be a professional golfer. And I’m still chasing that dream one weekend at a time!
