What drew you to work at MoTech?
As a former print-only designer, the next thing to add to my skillset was learning interactive design. It was quite a change but I’m so happy I made the leap. MoTech was the perfect place to learn!
What’s your favorite part of your job?
Definitely the people. We have a pretty amazing group, and we learn a lot from each other. I also appreciate the freedom to be creative.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
Hanging out with my husband Kristian and two favorite girls, Norah and Evelyn, playing board games, having dance parties and spending time outdoors.
In one word, describe your daily commute to work.
None!
It’s your birthday dinner. What anything-goes meal are you requesting?
Seoul Taco: Steak burrito, Kimchi fried rice, chips and queso and premium margarita please!
Do you have any pets?
A golden retriever, Stella Seesaw, and a goldador, Lucy Goose (middle names courtesy of my lovely girls). Lucy is our quarantine pup and is the perfect little sis and playmate for Stella.
What’s your favorite childhood memory?
Family parties where the aunts and uncles would sit in a circle playing ukuleles and singing old folk songs.
What’s the most memorable or unusual thing to happen to you while working here?
Working from home. Something I thought I could never do, but now love!
You have one hour of uninterrupted “Me Time.” What are you doing with it?
Fireplace lit, glass of chardonnay in hand, watching anything on Bravo. Realistically though? Probably laundry.
If you could have an alternate profession, what would it be and why?
I think I would enjoy teaching art to young kiddos. I love doing art projects with my girls, and summers off wouldn’t be too terrible either.
